CYLINDRICAL STRIP BRUSHES

Wound up Strip Brush, comes with all the strip manufacturing characteristics, wound around an axis to form a cylinder.

The strip No. comes according to the fibre thickness dimensions

It can be wound up from a Ø 6 mm., for a Nº. 2.5 strip.

This type of Brush achieves the following in comparison to a traditional brush:

• Greater density
• Spiral winding achieves brushing without any signs
• Withstands revolutions higher than 2,500.

• A toothed strip system is recommended for substantial efforts.

• Wound around together

• Left-hand wound pitch 50 mm.

• Central spiral wound pitch 50 mm.

When requesting a wound brush strip you must provide:

• Winding direction
• Spiral pitch

• The Toothed Strip Brush, is made of zinc plated or stainless steel.
• Suitable for extremely heavy jobs and high rpm speeds. The 5.5 mm thick “U” is used for cylinders of inner diameters up to 80 mm. The 9.5 mm “U” must be used for larger inner diameters.
• All these brushes due to their work, are balanced and rectified.

Cylindrical Strip, is made of:

• An extruded aluminium profile with 30 grooves for brush strip No. 5. A central axis, a pair of anchoring devices and 30 strip brushes.

• Of all the elements mentioned, the aluminium profile is the only piece that cannot be modified.

• Starting with the extruded aluminium, a wide range of combinations can be achieved: the grooves are partially or totally filled according to the brush required. The client can change the brushes once they have worn out.
