Sanding brushes:

Conventional cylindrical sanding brushes, or sanding brushes, are made from Tampico vegetable fiber and sandpaper. They can be used for many different applications, such as sanding doors and sanding surfaces made from different types of wood (pine, oak, etc.). By combining different types of sandpaper and grits, different finishes can be achieved, such as sanding, lapping, beta, etc. They can also be used for sanding metal with silicon carbide sandpaper. We advise our customers on the best option for the job at hand.

Depending on the job to be done, we offer our range of brushes based on the number of sandpapers, which can be aluminum oxide or silicon carbide. When using any sanding machine, it is essential to prepare the surface to be sanded.

Design and manufacture of sanding brushes

At Cepillería Técnica Jonxa, we have been designing and manufacturing industrial brushing solutions for many years, in collaboration with or at the request of our customers for the development of special brushes. We have our own engineering department to find the most suitable solution for every brushing need. The characteristics of the surface to be sanded and the working environment are fundamental aspects to take into account when deciding on the composition of the sanding brush, the weight of the sandpaper, the density of the brush, the core material, etc. Depending on the surface and the environment, there will be an optimal combination for the sanding brush.
